Our story 

Avion Express was established in 2005 by its founder Mr. Per Weithz. At that time it was called UAB Nordic Solutions Air Services and its main purpose was to operate charter and wet lease flights for customers around Europe and beyond if needed.

In September 2007, Icelandic Avion Aircraft Trading (AAT) acquired a 90% of the company and in 2008 the company was rebranded Avion Express. AAT introduced ambitious plans to add more Saab aircraft to the AOC and to further strengthen the infrastructure and prepare the company to be a flexible and spontaneous company which is prepared to take on all sorts of tasks in the leasing industry.
